Overview The Director of Forecasting will be responsible forcompleting forecasts across in-line and pipeline indications tohelp shape commercial strategy for Insmed. This role will be a keymember of the Commercial Effectiveness team and will partnerclosely with cross-functional collaborators (e.g., Marketing,Sales, FP&A) to optimize estimation and articulation of thecommercial opportunity. This is a hands-on role that requires awillingness to implement all aspects of forecasting, from modelingthrough to helping craft a narrative. The position will be inBridgewater, NJ and may require some travel.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:

Developing and maintaining forecasting models inExcel, with a primary focus on US forecasts across multipleproducts and indications Collaborating closely with regionalCommercial Effectiveness teams to ensure consistency of forecastassumptions across countries, when possible, and to ensure clearmessaging Helping with the consolidation of global forecasts andmaintaining an up-to-date view of key risks and opportunities inthe short, mid and long term Driving, and collaborating with theanalytics team, on analytical projects that will deliver highquality business insights relevant to the forecasts! Integratingsecondary data analyses and primary market research insightsAssisting the Senior Director, Forecasting in the preparation anddelivery of forecast narrative to senior leaders Collaborating withanalytic teams on the tracking of product performance vs. forecastexpectations Working closely with vendor partners to identifyanalogs and benchmarks to support forecast assumptions Stayingupdated on market evolutions and dynamics relevant to

Insmedproducts/pipeline Qualifications:

6 years’ experience in commercialdemand forecasting in pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcareconsulting (related experience will be considered) Knowledge ofpharmaceutical data (e.g. sales, specialty pharmacy, payer,promotional & marketing data, longitudinal patient-level data)Strong technical skills combined with a sharp business insightExperience with launches and commercialization of pharmaceuticalproducts (specialty drug/respiratory launch experience preferred)Experience within the US market (experience with global marketsbeneficial) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering orrelated discipline MBA or other advanced degree (MS, PhD) preferredHighly skilled in developing product forecasts, market assessments,and competitive intelligence analyses Strong quantitative andanalytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data intoactionable insights Experience with secondary data [e.g., APLDmedical claims data, audited TRx data (IQVIA or Symphony Health),and epidemiology references] High proficiency in MS Office(Excel/PowerPoint) Experience with advanced analytical modelingAgile great teammate; able to adapt and implement based on evolvingbusiness needs, with strong active listening skills Strong verbaland written communication skills Ability to work across culturesSkilled at leading without authority in a cross-functionalenvironment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attentionto detail and accuracy Must successfully exhibit Insmed’s five corevalues of: Collaboration, Accountability, Passion, Respect andIntegrity, along with any other position specific competencies.
