Overview The Senior Director of Forecasting will beresponsible for evolving Insmed’s capabilities in forecasting,including developing strategy related to forecasting methodologies,processes, and technologies that will enhance decision-making andplanning across the organization. This role will be a key member ofthe Commercial Effectiveness team and will partner closely withcross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Sales, FP&A) tooptimize estimation and articulation of the commercial opportunity.

This is a hands-on role that requires an entrepreneurial mindsetand a willingness to execute all aspects of forecasting, frommodeling through to creating a narrative and driving the company toaction. The position will be in Bridgewater, NJ and may requiresome travel. This is not currently a supervisory position but mayhave responsibilities in the future.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:

We are seeking a highly experienced andinnovative forecasting leader. The person in this role will beresponsible for: Leading development of US forecasts acrossmultiple products and indications, as well as guiding andmaintaining forecast models across regions Collaborating closelywith regional Commercial Effectiveness teams to ensure consistencyof forecast assumptions across countries, when possible, and toensure clear messaging Leading the consolidation of globalforecasts and maintaining an up-to-date view of key risks andopportunities in the short, mid and long-term Driving consolidationand delivery of the forecast narrative to senior leadershipProposing methodology, process improvements, and technologysolutions, then getting buy-in from cross-functional leaders andleading implementation of such solutions Integrating secondary dataanalyses and primary market research insights to support forecastassumptions Collaborating with analytic teams on the tracking ofproduct performance vs. forecast expectations Working closely withvendor partners to identify analogs and benchmarks to supportforecast assumptions Sharing best practices, innovating, drivingefficiencies, and partnering with regional forecasting teamsStaying updated on market evolutions and dynamics relevant toInsmed products/pipeline, proactively updating forecasts withmaterial market events Knowledge & Experience Extensive knowledgeof pharmaceutical data (e.g., sales, specialty pharmacy, payer,promotional & marketing data, longitudinal patient-level data)Experience with launches and commercialization of pharmaceuticalproducts (specialty drug/respiratory launch experience preferred)Strong blend of technical proficiency, business acumen, andexperience informing business growth and opportunity Experiencewithin the US market (experience with global markets beneficial)Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineeringor related discipline required (MS, PhD, MBA or other advanceddegree preferred) 10 years of leadership experience in demandforecasting within a pharmaceutical/biotech company or healthcareconsulting firm (will consider related experience) Expertise indeveloping product forecasts, market assessments, and competitiveintelligence analyses Proven track-record of working with seniorleadership on forecast development and communication Strongquantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to translatecomplex data into actionable insights Collaborative and influentialleadership style, with the ability to build strong partnershipsacross the organization Skills Experience with secondary data[e.g., APLD medical claims data, audited TRx data (IQVIA orSymphony Health), and epidemiology references] High proficiency inMS Office (Excel/Access/PowerPoint) Experience with advancedanalytical modeling Agile team player; able to adapt and executebased on evolving business needs, with strong active listeningskills Ability to extract and quickly process key information,summarize needs of cross-functional teams, and provide targeted andappropriate insights and recommendations Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills Ability to work across cultures Skilled atleading without authority in a cross-functional environment Abilityto work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail andaccuracy LI-SK1LI-Hybrid Salary Range 207000-289867 Compensation &Benefits At Insmed, we’re committed to investing in every teammember’s total well-being, now and in the future.
