Job Description
NUTRITION DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION OFFICER
(Albany, NY): Lead formulation of new nutritional supplements/vitamins that meet specific health objectives; investigate/select active ingredients, excipients, delivery systems; ensure products meet regulatory standards/GMP; develop/implement quality assurance processes to ensure the consistency, safety, efficacy of nutritional products; conduct/oversee analytical testing of raw materials/finished products; assist mgmt. with reg. submissions/prod. labeling; analyze market trends, consumer needs, and competitive products to identify opportunities for new product development. Masters (or foreign equiv. deg.) in Chem., Pharm. Sci. or rel., + knowledge of dosage form formulation, wet/dry granulation, compression/coating techniques, capsule filling, prep of GMP/SOPs, regulatory comp. submissions.
