The Program Strategy Analyst will spearhead the execution of market-specific product pipelines, focusing on the drone market within the military defense sector for Allient Defense Solutions (ADS). This individual will work closely with product management, program management, business development, engineering, procurement, and production teams. The role will also combine some program management responsibilities with market analysis to identify marketing and sales strategies, target key strategic projects, and create product positioning, promotion, and marketing plans . Responsibilities:
Achieve business success through account management, business development, product design, and customer satisfaction. Develop new product requirements through consulting with customers and sales personnel. Lead and manage the successful launch of all custom products by collaborating with regional sales managers (RSM), engineering and product teams to gather specifications and ensure project objectives are met within scope, schedule, and budget. Lead technical discussions with customers and key stakeholders, providing technical support to RSM to establish clear product specifications and performance requirements. Facilitate design reviews and interface with cross-functional teams to ensure design reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability, while meeting program milestones. Establish and monitor engineering project budgets and schedules. Prepare successful proposal designs, cost estimates, and shoulder the responsibility for writing the technical volume for proposals. Demonstrate initiative, reliability, and positive team attitude. Engage technical and non-technical audiences effectively through excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Serve as a dynamic utility player within the ADS team. Supporting and adapting to evolving priorities and operations, driving cross functional initiatives and owning special projects, Stepping into gaps as needed and connecting dots across departments, solving unexpected problems and bringing structure to ambiguous challenges to keep the business moving.
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field; Bachelor’s minimal. Project Management certification recommended. 5+ years in business development, sales, or application engineering. 4-8 years in technical product sales, including new product development. 5+ years in motion control or related industries. Proven success in sales and managing technical projects. Proficient with CRM tools, sales tracking systems, and CAD (SolidWorks or similar). Strong skills in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint. Strong leadership and customer relations skills. Great organizational and time management skills.
Work Environment:
Predominantly office environment with some exposure to production floor or development lab environments. While on the production floor, employee may be subjected to moving mechanical parts and may be required to wear precautionary personal protective equipment.
