DESCRIPTION
Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits’ products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection, measurement and imaging applications, including military communication, guidance and electronic countermeasure systems, commercial, scientific, military land, sea and aircraft; automotive systems, medical systems, and industrial test equipment.
Mini-Circuits’ sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive web site.
Position Summary:
The Global Process Owner (GPO) – Product Data is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining, standardizing, and governing product data and documentation processes across all Mini-Circuits regions. As part of the company’s global ERP transformation initiative, this role will be instrumental in shaping the future state of how product information is created, managed, integrated, and consumed across the enterprise. The GPO will work closely with engineering, operations, IT, and global business units to drive the design and implementation of harmonized data processes in
SAP S/4HANA
(or alternate ERP platform), ensuring master data integrity, version control, and regulatory compliance.
Salary Range:
$150,000 – $165,000 per year
Job Function:
ERP Transformation
Act as the primary owner of the Product Data workstream during ERP Fit-to-Standard workshops, demos, and implementation cycles.
Collaborate with system integrators, IT, and regional stakeholders to map existing processes to ERP standards and document any gaps.
Ensure consistent data models for product masters, bill of materials (BOM), routings, drawings, and specifications.
Define global governance for product lifecycle attributes: status, revisions, approvals, versioning, and obsolescence.
Global Data Governance
Lead efforts to harmonize product documentation practices across all global facilities.
Set quality standards for product master data across all systems of record and usage points (ERP, PLM, MES).
Establish data ownership models and change control mechanisms across departments.
Product Lifecycle Oversight
Define lifecycle strategies for how new, active, legacy, and end-of-life products are onboarded, managed, and sunset.
Align lifecycle governance with ERP workflows, supply chain readiness, and customer experience expectations.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales to support integrated product setup and product change control.
Liaise with PLM owners (e.g., Arena) to ensure data synchronization and handoff to ERP systems.
Process Standardization & Optimization
Champion standardization of SKU creation, BOM templates, part classification, packaging rules, and label standards.
Reduce redundant or obsolete data through SKU rationalization and drive data hygiene initiatives.
Team Enablement & Documentation
Provide guidance to regional documentation and product engineering teams on ERP-aligned documentation practices.
Contribute to training materials.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, or related technical field.
Minimum 12 years of experience in product data, master data management, or PLM/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years leading cross-functional teams or owning product documentation at a global level.
Experience in electronics, RF components, or high-tech hardware industries is strongly preferred.
Deep understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and its integration with ERP.
Strong familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft D365, or Oracle.
Demonstrated ability to define and enforce data governance standards across regions.
Experience working in large transformation programs or system implementations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to travel internationally as needed for site visits, workshops, and implementation support.
Quality and completeness of product master data post-migration.
Alignment of all regions to global product documentation standards.
Reduction in data duplication and obsolete SKUs.
ERP adoption of harmonized product data processes across functions.
