Overview As Director of Technical Product Management, you will be responsible for the definition, implementation and facilitation of Product operations, processes and workflows for the Enterprise and Commercial Products, including but not limited to Quarterly Planning. Leads and inspire a team of Technical Product Managers and define success measures and set expectations of the team, coaching and mentoring them through execution of Product lifecycles as and where required. This includes, but not limited to, supporting team with business case development, prioritization, escalations, defining product success measures at a product, operational and business outcome level and ensuring business-readiness. Uses product analytics and qualitative techniques to determine urgency, prioritize and inform product decisions. Collaborates with peers in the SciTech organization to ensure that the Product Team is set up for success

  • collaborating and supporting resource allocation, capacity planning, removing blockers and providing input into technical decisions. Influential leader in the implementation of Agile Product Development practices within the Product Engineering Teams. Builds and maintains positive relations with customers and partners
  • both internally in the Enterprise Product Division and externally in the Commercial Product Division
  • enabling feedback loops that can further inform product priorities and strategies.

Sets the long-term vision of the Product Organization.
Leads, Coaches, mentors, and empowers team members through all stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.

Drives data-informed decision making at all levels

Collaborates broadly with cross-functional teams and leaders within SciTech and lines of businesses.
Champions the Product mindset and approach across broad parts of the organization.
Leads the commercial product strategy and execution of Product Development and Go-to-Market activities for the Commercial Product Portfolio.
Builds and nurtures strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and colleagues across the Enterprise and Commercial divisions. Establishes feedback loops to inform product strategy and ensure business readiness

Qualifications Licenses and Certifications:

Certification

  • Product Management from an industry-recognized Product Management educational institute/community, required
    Certification
  • Scrum / Agile Product Development / Product Owner Certification, required
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in in Computer Science or related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required

Work Experience:

Minimum 8 years of product management experience with 5 years in Product Leadership position required
Strong leadership and strategy, leading and inspiring cross-functional teams through strong audience-appropriate communication required
Energized by transformation opportunities and working towards a better / more effective way of working for the benefit of our Product Teams and Customers

  • ideally implementing a Product culture, mindset, and process and/or an agile transformation required
    Demonstrates perseverance, discipline and consistency for effective and thorough change management, with an attention to detail to drive optimal outcomes.

Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, clearly define, articulate with clarity and solve complex problems in a matrixed organization required
Demonstrated ability to ruthlessly prioritize, leveraging data to support decision making and a strategic awareness to connect Product Strategy to overall business objectives required
Demonstrates high levels of empathy, emotional intelligence and leverages strong communication skills to influence direct reports, development teams, customers and stakeholders, end users, technical teams outside of their immediate vicinity and leadership required
Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and colleagues across the Enterprise and Commercial divisions. Establish feedback loops to inform product strategy and ensure business readiness required
Demonstrated focus on outcomes, measuring value creation opportunities and tracking through to value realization across large Product Portfolios required
Proven ability to effectively lead Product Teams, coaching and mentoring Product Managers required
Proven ability to learn new domains quickly, from a breadth and depth perspective, supported by excellent business acumen skills required
Experience with Product Management Tools such as Product Analytics and Design tools required
Healthcare industry experience preferred
Experience commercializing technology products preferred Pay Range USD $172,900.00
