PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

– Women’s Knitwear, Hybrid
A leader in women’s fashion for over 30 years is adding a Product Development Manager to join the team! Partner with cross-functional teams across multiple brands. Lead the Product Development Process in women’s sportswear and knitwear.

Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all aspects of the development process from design process through production
Collaborate with upper management on all product placement and new fabrications
Log in all (lab dip, strike off, fabric quality, fit samples, sales samples, pp, top submissions, and submits) and follow up with the production team daily Review work in progress reports weekly to ensure the production flow of garments is on a timely basis
Daily communication with factories on all development for pre-production and production
Good color sense, and ability to review lab dips, strike offs and trims
Communication with retail customers for color approvals, testing, labeling, and packaging Follow-up approvals from both design and production for all incoming orders.
Maintain status charts in excel format to track everything
Issue and track all sample requests, including sales samples, pp, TOP, and testing samples
Skills
Bachelor’s degree
Five plus years in the development process in wholesale apparel
Strong understanding of fabrications
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, ERP system
Fast-paced, high energy, and multi-tasking capabilities
