PRODUCT MANAGER ASSISTANT
– Contemporary Fashion Brand (Hybrid)
A leading wholesale contemporary company, specializing in Women’s sportswear with over 35 years in business offering a hybrid work schedule is adding to the team. We are seeking a Product Manager Assistant to support the Director of Production with daily tasks while working independently.
Job Description:
Communicate and follow up with overseas vendors daily.
Organize all production purchase orders to overseas factories and review with sales.
Provides status reports to the management team regarding any production issues
Send stock and customer inquiries to vendors.
Monitor incoming WIP containers ensuring deliveries are met
Work closely with compliance team ensuring all quality standards are being followed Create and maintain work in progress charts as needed.
Purchase order review with factories
Follow up all incoming production orders with overseas factories
Liaise between sales and production for special customer inquiries i.e., testing, packing requirements, warehouse destination.
Ensure on time deliveries.
Skills & Requirements:
3-4 years’ experience in apparel production and sourcing
PLM experience a plus
Highly organized and detail oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excel, Pivot, and Microsoft office
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task
Analytical with strong mathematical skills
Understanding of product development and production process
