This role is ideal for someone with a manufacturing background who understands technical processes, can interpret specifications, and enjoys collaborating across departments.

Position Summary:

This individual contributor role bridges engineering, sales, and marketing, supporting one of our most technical and impactful product segments. The Product Manager will not manage people, but they will drive project execution, technical documentation, customer communication, and product development support. We’re looking for someone who can connect the dots between customer needs, technical feasibility, and process execution focusing on the fast-growing municipal water and wastewater sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a key resource for all things related to municipal valve products, offering technical and application expertise to both internal and external stakeholders. Support engineering and sales by reviewing drawings, specs, and submittals to assess feasibility and ensure accurate interpretation of customer requirements. Spend time supporting technical efforts (project scoping, documentation, spec review) and supporting marketing (product sheets, presentations, and training materials). Communicate clearly with customers, engineers, and reps to discuss valve applications, performance specs, and compliance with municipal requirements. Assist in the preparation and revision of manuals, specification sheets, and training guides for municipal valve products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product improvements, new product development, and customer-focused solutions. Stay informed on competitor products, market needs, and emerging industry trends, especially in the municipal water and wastewater space. Help deliver internal and external training on product use and features.

Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Bachelor’s preferred. Manufacturing or technical industry background with a strong understanding of processes, math, and spec interpretation. Experience in a product support, applications, or technical sales role—ideally within the municipal, water, or mechanical systems sector. Excellent communication skills, especially in translating technical information for non-technical stakeholders. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specs, and technical documentation. Highly organized and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
