Product Development Project Manager Fabrication Enterprises Inc 250 Clearbrook Road, Elmsford, NY 10523 Company Overview Fabrication Enterprises, Inc. (FEI) is a 50-year-old leader in healthcare products, specializing in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and sports medicine equipment. We distribute globally through our dealer network and manufacture proprietary brands including CanDo®, TheraPutty®, Baseline®, and Relief Pak®. Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized Product Development Project Manager to serve as the central hub for all product development, sourcing, and vendor management activities. This role will eliminate operational silos, streamline communication across departments, and ensure efficient project execution from concept to market launch. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Organization Serve as the primary coordinator between Sales, Marketing, Sourcing, Purchasing, Regulatory, Warehouse, and Management teams Own and maintain all product development projects in Asana, creating clear visibility for stakeholders Extract and present relevant project information to departments in digestible formats Create and manage comprehensive project timelines, milestones, and deliverables Consolidate scattered email communications into organized, trackable project records in Asana Develop and maintain standardized processes for cross-departmental collaboration Vendor & Sourcing Analysis Analyze pricing proposals from multiple vendors across different countries Compare vendor pricing against current costs and market positioning Create comprehensive vendor comparison reports for management review Maintain vendor performance scorecards and relationship status updates Track and report on delivery timelines and quality metrics Product Launch Coordination Monitor product arrivals at warehouse and coordinate launch communications Notify Marketing, Sales, and relevant departments when new products are ready for sale Ensure smooth handoff from Sourcing/Purchasing to commercial teams Track product status from order placement through warehouse receipt to market availability Communication & Information Management Act as the single point of contact for all product development communications Translate project data from Asana into actionable insights for various stakeholder levels Create multiple communication formats (visual dashboards, executive summaries, status updates) tailored to different audiences Facilitate regular cross-departmental meetings and status updates Ensure all stakeholders of varying technical abilities can access the information they need Data Management & Reporting Maintain centralized database of all product specifications, pricing, and vendor information Generate regular status reports for leadership team Track project ROI and cost-saving opportunities Create dashboards for real-time project visibility across departments Document all processes and maintain comprehensive project records Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field 3-5 years experience in project coordination, preferably in manufacturing or product development Strong proficiency in Asana or other similar project management software required Strong analytical skills with ability to compare complex pricing structures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excel skills and database management experience Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders of varying technical abilities Strong technical writing skills for process documentation Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare products or medical device industry Knowledge of international sourcing and import/export processes Familiarity with regulatory requirements for healthcare products Experience with ERP systems and inventory management What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to make immediate impact on company efficiency Direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making Professional development opportunities in project management and supply chain Reporting Structure Reports directly to: SVP of Sales and Marketing Works closely with: Sourcing Manager, Purchasing Team, Regulatory Affairs, Warehouse Operations, and Senior Management Why This Role Matters This position is critical to FEI’s continued growth and operational excellence.
