Job Overview:

We seek an High-performing individual with a strong execution mindset and 5-7 years of experience to join our marketing department as a Product Manager, managing B2B strategic and new product development projects. As Product Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing and evaluating strategic and tactical projects across our core business units. This includes the development of new product strategies and execution, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and defining the product vision. You will build on current products and help to define new ideas based on consumer insights, completive market research and OEM customer input. This includes ensuring that the product initiatives support the overall business unit strategy and goals. You will work cross-functionally with R D, sales, operations and finance to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously ensuring that projects and new products are delivered on strategy and on time.

Responsibilities:

Manage and execute projects broadly across the organization. Projects include but are not limited to new product development, marketing and sales materials, and other company objectives.
Provide day-to-day leadership, direction and team guidance for assigned new product development projects leading them through the stage gate process, managing day-to-day activities and focusing efforts against agreed upon strategies, goals, costs and timelines.
Develop project timelines, milestones and associated communication documents using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables.
Develop the positioning and messaging for new products
Develop and execute marketing and sales materials in support of new product launches, including online and print materials and key customer presentations.
Conduct and report on competitive analysis, periodic market evaluations and research depending on needs of the business
Assist in conducting financial and business case analysis
Assist in developing and executing recommended pricing and new product forecasting
Support sales team with information on products and application in collaboration with R D and applications engineers

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA is a plus.
5-7 years of new product development experience

  • defining, executing and launching products
  • preferably within a B2B environment.

Familiarity with Stage Gate process a plus.
5-7 years experience managing marketing, research and other strategic projects within a business environment, preferably B2B.
Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams is critical.
Superior project management skills to manage activities, timelines and a cross-functional team
Strong prioritization and time management skills, extremely organized, detail oriented and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Ability and experience managing projects with both internal and external resources
Strong analytical skills are critical.
Experience or familiarity with operations and sales functions and activities
Passion for problem-solving and collaboration
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all organization functions and levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in PC use, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are required, Canva and other presentation tools a plus. Microsoft Project experiences a plus.
Experience understanding manufacturing processes is a plus
