Aboutthe Position:
Customers are the lifeblood of our company and Qumulois looking for strategic, customer-focused, and results-drivenCustomer Success Engineers (CSEs) with a strong background in cloudtechnologies. CSEs will engage and work with our customers toanswer technical questions or resolve complex issues primarilyfocusing on cloud environments such as AWS and Azure. The CSE isultimately responsible for the complete life cycle of a customerissue and ensuring proper communication and resolution. Please notewe are looking for candidates based in the Pacific to Central UStime zones and this roles schedule will include weekend coverage.
Responsibilities:
This role will provide support to our customersin our follow-the-sun support model, covering weekend schedules,including Saturday and Sunday Work cross-functionally with oursales, product, and engineering teams to ensure customer issues arequickly resolved Troubleshoot issues on the Qumulo product in bothOn-Premises or Cloud file systems, including cloud infrastructureissues, permissions problems, performance issues, and general filesystem issues Prioritize and drive resolution for escalatedcustomer issues in both cloud and on-premises environments Providefeedback to engineering and product teams on product gaps and areasof improvement, particularly related to cloud offeringsCollaborates with peers and mentors on complex issues Consistentlygrow knowledge and expand skill sets in cloud technologies
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude Demonstratedworking knowledge of major cloud platforms, including compute,storage, networking, and identity management services Basic networktroubleshooting skills and understanding of general networktechnologies Familiarity with Linux & Windows operating systemsFamiliarity with Windows Active Directory or LDAP Understanding offile permissions and access control in cloud environments 5 – 7years experience in a customer-facing role, including 1-3 years oftroubleshooting cloud environments Python Programming skills are aplus Relevant cloud certifications (e.g.,
AWS Certified SysOpsAdministrator, Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator Associate)are a plus, but not required The annual pay range for the role isUSD $81,000 – $121,000. Individual pay depends on various factors,such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location.
