The Director of Product Management will oversee core businessteams within IPSY, and will serve as the point person for keystrategic initiatives. This leader will collaborate closely withbusiness, design, and engineering partners, defining the productroadmap and ensuring that the highest impact initiatives arebrought to life successfully. They will partner with businessleaders and stakeholders to ensure we’re delivering on businessgoals and will be responsible for driving IPSY’s core KPIs. Thisposition reports to the Sr. Director, Product and can be fullyremote in any of the 16 U.S. states where IPSY has an establishedbusiness presence (see application for a list).
What You’ll BeDoing:
- Collaborating closely with product/engineering leadershipand business partners, lead a team of 3-5 product managers, guidingthe product strategy for IPSY’s core business and overseeing newstrategic initiatives.
- Deeply understand customer, brand, andbusiness needs to identify and address product opportunities anddrive innovation and growth for IPSY’s newest businessopportunities.
- Leverage industry best practices, partner closelywith other Product and Engineering leadership to evolve ourinternal processes and frameworks to guide the product developmentteam’s efforts, i.e. Discovery and Delivery, and stay one stepahead as the company continues to scale.
- Recruit, motivate anddevelop a world-class team of product managers capable of leadingcross-functional teams through design thinking and other bestpractices in the early stages of the product lifecycle.
- Iteratefrequently and learn fast by identifying and validating assumptionsearly and often; experiment through A/B testing and otherquantitative and qualitative methodologies to maximize theprobability of success.
- Drive key strategic initiatives throughStrategy Development and Discovery and activate key initiativesacross the larger organization.
- Make insights and data-drivendecisions to develop and maintain your team’s product backlogs androadmap ensuring alignment to business objectives.
What We AreLooking For:
- 10 years of experience in building and scalingmobile and web product roadmaps for innovative companies, ideallywithin the Subscriptions space.
- Experience building andoptimizing Acquisition, Retention, Engagement, and Personalizationexperiences is desired, as well as background in backend areas suchas Supply Chain Optimization, Inventory Management, Payments, andData.
- Experience leading large-scale platform migrations,specifically those involving changes to both the frontendexperience and backend systems.
- Demonstrated experience buildinghighly scalable products that drive sales and expansion at a highvelocity and volume.
- Excellent communication and leadershipskills; experience managing through influence across teams andlevels.
- Customer focused mentality combined with the knowledge ofhow to build a web, mobile and physical products organization thatwill deliver an unmatched customer experience.
- Data-driven withdemonstrated success in establishing metrics, process and structuresuch as OKRs throughout an organization to improve overalloperating efficiencies and facilitate product decisions.
- Provenability to lead and guide data teams obsessed with developingamazing personalized and customized products.
- Unparalleledjudgment and design sensibility applied to product vision, roadmapping, scoping, UX, and release planning.
- A coach who can rollup your sleeves and jump in where needed.
