Join our fast-paced Security Operations team as we shape the futureof Incident Response and Advisory products and services. In thishighly visible role, you’ll collaborate with product leadership,customers, partners, Cyber Insurers, engineers, and our AdvisoryServices team to develop solutions that ruly make an impact. We’relooking for a strategic and technical product leader with a trackrecord of building cybersecurity services that meet customer needsand align with Cyber Insurer requirements. You’ll combine businessacumen, technical expertise, and a big-picture vision to workacross Product, Operations, and Engineering. Your role will involvedefining product strategy, leading design and planning discussions,and making key prioritization decisions. You’ll work alongsidetalented engineers, researchers, and security professionals todevelop practical, real-world solutions for today’s cybersecuritychallenges. - Take a customer-first approach,engaging with SOC teams, Incident Responders, CISOs, and securityanalysts to understand their challenges and evolving needs.
- Develop strong partnerships and build proposals with CyberInsurers, working with Corporate Development to negotiate contractsand expand coverage opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally withProduct Managers and teams to identify synergies, flagdependencies, and deliver seamless cross-product and cross-businessunit initiatives.
- Stay ahead of the competition—analyzing markettrends, identifying gaps, and ensuring our products remaincompetitive and differentiated.
- Lead product development bydefining requirements and user stories, ensuring alignment withengineering teams in an agile environment.
- Foster strongrelationships with internal stakeholders, including engineeringleaders and sales engineering teams, to execute on key productpriorities.
- Manage senior leadership expectations, providingclear status updates, action plans, and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure smooth execution of product roadmaps, addressingchallenges proactively and escalating critical issues whennecessary.
- Act as the key product point of contact throughout theproduct delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment, clarity, andmomentum in all initiatives. What You Will Bring
- 5 years ofProduct Management experience in cybersecurity, particularly inIncident Response, security consulting, Cyber Insurance, MDR,and/or related security solutions.
- A good knowledge of cyberthreats, attack vectors, threat intelligence, and the incidentresponse lifecycle (Preparation, Detection & Analysis, Containment,Eradication, and Recovery).
- Expertise with security technologiessuch as XDR, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, MDR, and forensic tools.
- Interestin GenAI technology and its potential applications in cybersecurityoperations.
- Knowledge of Threat Intelligence, including threathunting, IoCs, and TTPs.
- Established relationships with CyberInsurers, with experience leveraging partnerships to expandsecurity service offerings.
- Existing relationships with CyberInsurers that you can leverage to build partnerships with Sophosincluding getting on to additional panels for IR and otherservices.
This includes familiarity with how cyber insurancepolicies cover incident response, ransom payments, businessinterruption and legal expenses.
Knowledge of key policy terms:
First-party Vs third party coverage, deductibles, exclusions,breach notification requirements.
- Regularity knowledge andunderstanding of
GDPR, NIST, ISO
27001, SOC2 and other cybersecurity frameworks.
- Understanding of working in collaborationwith a diverse range of business functions and customers to drivechange and achieve delivery.
- Track record of preparing andpresenting a strategy, roadmap, prioritizing product backlog, andworking on product strategy.
- The ability to weigh critical,well-informed trade-offs and have the data points to defend thosedecisions
- Strong collaboration skills to interface successfullywith a broad variety of stakeholders across multiple time zones andfunctional domains.
