- The Position
- As the Executive Director of Cloud and Technology Strategy Business Technology within Organon’s Digital and Commercial Solutions (DCS) organization, you will serve as a transformative leader, architecting the enterprise-wide technology strategy that drives innovation, operational excellence, and commercial success.
This pivotal role is responsible for shaping Organon’s technology foundation, leveraging cloud platforms, AI, machine learning, and automation to position the organization as a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry. You will champion a forward-thinking vision, ensuring Organon remains agile, competitive, and at the forefront of industry disruption. Partner with cross-functional leaders, and global teams to align technology initiatives with Organon’s strategic priorities. Your leadership will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability, delivering scalable, high-impact solutions that drive growth, enhance stakeholder engagement, and optimize operational efficiency.

- Strategic Technology Leadership & Vision
- + Define and execute a bold, enterprise-wide technology strategy that amplifies Organon’s mission, driving commercial growth, operational agility, and industry leadership.
+ Anticipate global industry trends and emerging technologies, positioning Organon to capitalize on opportunities that enhance competitive advantage and market differentiation. + Serve as a trusted advisor aligning technology investments with business priorities such as portfolio expansion, market access, and customer-centric innovation. + Champion a culture of innovation, fostering cross-functional collaboration to unify systems, eliminate inefficiencies, and deliver a seamless, future-ready technology ecosystem. Cloud Maturity & Operational Excellence + Spearhead the evolution of Organon’s cloud ecosystem, ensuring world-class performance, security, scalability, and cost-efficiency to support global commercial and digital initiatives. + Drive enterprise-wide automation and cloud-native strategies, embedding observability, self-service platforms, and compliance to accelerate delivery and adaptability. + Oversee the integration of advanced cloud solutions, ensuring Organon’s technology foundation remains agile, resilient, and industry-leading. + Optimize our cloud ecosystem to deliver top-tier performance, security, and cost-efficiency, enabling scalability for commercial and digital initiatives. + Lead automation efforts across infrastructure, observability, and self-service platforms to streamline operations and accelerate delivery. Technology Strategy & Business Alignment + Build strategic partnerships across DCS functions, including Data & Analytics, Customer Engagement & Digital Solutions, and Transformation teams, to drive cohesive, business-aligned outcomes. + Craft a technology vision that amplifies DCS’s goals—driving growth in the business and operational excellence. + Influence and align diverse stakeholders—executives, technical teams, and external partners—around a shared technology vision that supports Organon’s global ambitions. + Represent Organon in industry forums, fostering relationships with technology partners and thought leaders to enhance innovation and influence market trends. Technology Strategy & Oversight + Harness emerging technologies like AI, ML, and advanced analytics to transform commercial operations, from HCP engagement to campaign analytics. + Guide the integration of these innovations into our cloud environment, amplifying capabilities across sales, marketing, and customer value teams. + Provide strategic direction to ensure technology investments deliver measurable impact, align with DCS’s mission, and uphold governance standards. + Anticipate industry trends and position Organon to capitalize on opportunities that enhance our competitive edge.
- Required Education, Experience and Skills
- + MSc Degree or BSc Degree Computer Science or related field.
+ Fifteen plus years in cloud strategy, technology leadership, or roles driving business-aligned tech solutions. + Proven expertise in cloud maturity and automation across AWS, Azure, or GCP. + Track record of aligning technology with business goals in a dynamic, value-focused environment. + Pharmaceutical industry experience, ideally in areas like commercial, sales, marketing, or customer engagement. + Strong command of emerging technologies like AI, ML, and advanced analytics, with a focus on driving scalability and business impact. + Exceptional ability to influence stakeholders and unite diverse teams around a shared technology vision.
- Preferred Experience and Skills
