The Opportunity:
eCapital is seeking aDirector of Product Management to define the strategic vision androadmap for groundbreaking fintech initiatives. This senior-levelrole will lead the creation and advancement of new product domains,potentially redefining existing industry categories and drivingsignificant industry shifts. As aDirector, you will manage both the strategic direction (businessand technology) and development of a major service or substantialportfolio of externally offered products. You will collaborate withmultiple development teams and partner closely with account teamsand a diverse range of external customers, from startups toenterprise-level organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Define anddrive the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for strategicfintech products and service initiatives, influencing broaderindustry shifts. Engage deeply with external customers at alllevels, influencing customer engineering practices, technologyroadmap decisions, and long-term strategic alignments. Manage andaccelerate growth of P&L. Own strategic service initiatives,from defining value propositions to delivering business performancemetrics aligned with executive objectives. Drive joint andcross-organizational launches, strategic partnerships, andsustained product adoption and performance. Manage highly complexproduct scenarios, own service dependencies, and handle escalationsand critical incidents. Drive strategic industry communications,analyst relations, and major product launch strategies. Evaluatestrategic business and technology decisions, including M&Aconsiderations, partnerships, and long-term technology investments.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Finance, Business, or a related field. 8 years of experience inproduct management, including 5 years leading technical productdevelopment. Demonstrated experience managing complex,cross-functional product initiatives. Deep expertise in SaaSarchitectures, API integrations, cloud platforms, and scalablesystem designs. Exceptional ability to articulate strategic visionsand technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Proven trackrecord influencing industry-wide shifts and executive-leveldecisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years in fintech, lendingtechnology, or financial services. Master’s degree in BusinessAdministration, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Strongbackground in embedded finance, lending platforms, and financialdata analytics. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in financialservices. Experience leading agile product development teams andmethodologies. Background in leveraging AI and machine learningproducts. Proven history of launching successful products thatsignificantly enhance business growth.
