Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy:
Develop, present and implement portfolio business plans forspecific product lines and categories including management ofpricing, supplier relationships, go-to-market strategies, andproduct positioning. Create, execute and manage marketing programsand materials including company catalogs, online initiatives,advertising, sales specific materials, trade show marketingefforts, and supplier materials.
Communication:
Develop andmanage messaging strategies for both current and new products andcategories. Drive messaging integration by collaborating within-house creative teams and cross-functional groups. Translatebusiness plans into clear and actionable marketing tactics.
Establish and own the relationship with product manufacturers.

Brand Management:
Utilize sales and market data, pricingstrategies, customer segmentation and competitive intelligence toidentify product opportunities within specified categories thatdrive new revenue streams and build brand equity. Direct anddevelop all tactics and activities that support brand developmentand growth.
P&L Management:
Forecast, track and adjust profitand loss statements to ensure that product portfolios meetfinancial goals. Collaborate with Leadership, Sales, Finance,Purchasing, and Operations to ensure the accurate tracking andmanagement of revenue, COGS, profit and gross margin.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing orrelated field.
- Minimum of three to five years product/marketingmanagement experience within a value-added distribution industry,business-to-business selling environment, or the health careproducts industry.
- Understanding of supply chain processes andinventory management a plus.
- Medical/clinical expertise or priorhealthcare experience a plus.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Demonstrated experience with product/category management, productpositioning, customer segmentation, pricing, communication andmarketing strategies.
- Ability to think strategically andunderstand the big picture, but also execute with strong attentionto detail.
- Excellent project management skills – organize andcoordinate multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on time withhigh quality.
- Strong business acumen with advanced planning andforecasting capabilities including exceptional financial andanalytical skills.
- Ability to pull together and analyze data toarticulate trends and provide insights that drive the business.
- Experience with effective supplier relationship management.
- Understanding of new product launch processes coupled with aninnovative, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Exceptional communicationskills, including the ability to collaborate, influence andcommunicate at all levels.
- Translate and communicate business andmarket needs to achieve alignment among stakeholders.
- Experienceworking with and directing creative strategies and tactics.
- Experience working with contracts from creating and redlining tonegotiating and finalizing agreements.
- Microsoft Office Suite andCRM with strong Excel analytical skills and advanced PowerPointcapabilities.
