You will workcross-functionally to find novel ways to leverage AI to improve theaccuracy and speed with which we identify and assess risk at scale.
You’ll be responsible for identifying problems and opportunities,collecting feedback from users, defining success criteria,prioritizing features within a roadmap, and working across thecompany to deliver innovative underwriting solutions. Your roadmapwill consist of novel AI driven features as well as improvements toexisting systems and tools that will work together to driveaccuracy and efficiency gains. Responsibilities DeliverAI-first solutions to improve underwriting accuracy and efficiencyProvide technical thought leadership by staying up to date on thelatest trends in AI and proposing new directions to drive businessimpact Define metrics and goals for underwriting accuracy andefficiency, and develop a differentiated product strategy androadmap leveraging data and qualitative feedback Partner closelywith engineering, design, and other product managers to define userexperiences through detailed feature specifications, and executethe roadmap Lead complex internal product launches to drive productadoption and impact, collaborating with cross-functional teams andbuilding business stakeholder relationships Skills andQualifications 5 years of experience building and launchingsuccessful software products, taking them from an idea all the wayto customer benefit Demonstrated ability to stay up-to-date on thelatest AI trends / technologies and incorporating them into yourproduct solutions An ownership mentality; the ability to leadindependently and do what it takes to deliver great outcomesAbility to articulate complex problems to stakeholders fromdifferent areas of the business, and drive decision alignment toactionable outcomes Ability to balance being hands-on and sweatingthe details and looking at the larger picture and driving thestrategic vision Comfortable with data analysis and manipulatinglarge data sets to derive insights, and inform product decisionsand process optimization Bonus Points Experience building andlaunching AI / ML products Experience with the business ofinsurance, or related regulated financial products Experiencebuilding internal products driving operational efficiencies forcomplex systems and workflows Compensation Our compensationreflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The US base salary for this position ranges from $136,000/year inour lowest geographic market up to $203,000/year in our highestgeographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employeespay within this range is based on a number of factors, whichinclude but are not limited to relevant education, skills,job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience,credentials, and/or geographic location.
