A SaaS company based in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a hands-off Software Development Manager. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a team of developers working on the companies healthcare SaaS product. They need someone who comes from a .NET technical background who can live close to the code. You’ll be primarily hands off; however, they want someone who can work through the technical day to day with the engineers and strategize effectively. Healthcare experience is a huge plus and differentiating factor. The team also plans on moving things to Azure cloud; any cloud migration experience would also be great to have.
The role is fulltime, direct hire and will be onsite 1 day a month in Philadelphia. All applicants must have previous managerial experience overseeing development teams.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ Years of .NET Development experience
3+ years of direct leadership experience
Ability to stay close to the code and drive the technical day to day
Solutions-oriented communication skills
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Healthcare Industry Experience
HIPAA, EDI, etc.
Azure Cloud migration projects
