See yourself at Twilio Join the team as Twilio’s next SeniorDirector, Product Management•Twilio Data Substrate About the jobThis Senior Director of Product Management•Twilio Data Substratewill be part of the Data, Identity and Security product team andwill drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for unifying datafrom disparate systems and data stores into a structured andgoverned data substrate. This role will play a pivotal part indefining API contracts that standardize data ingestion andgovernance, ensuring seamless data accessibility, system healthobservability metrics, and alignment across internal teams andcustomer-facing services. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity,collaborates across R D and IT teams, and can implementscalable governance frameworks that enable data-drivendecision-making and operational efficiency. •
Required:
8 years ofexperience in data architecture, governance, or strategy roles,ideally in large-scale, complex environments. Deep understanding ofdata movement, storage, integration, governance, and systemobservability frameworks. Proven experience leadingcross-functional teams to establish data governance frameworks andpolicies. Strong knowledge of data management best practices,including security, compliance, and lifecycle management. Hands-onexperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), APImanagement, and data engineering. Strong communication andstakeholder management skills, with the ability to align R Dand IT teams toward a unified data vision. Ability to navigateambiguity, drive clarity, and execute in fast-paced environments.
Experience with data cataloging, metadata management, andgovernance tooling is a plus. Worked on data platforms, customerengagement platforms, and streaming applications. Proficiency inthe big data ecosystem e.g. Kafka, Spark, Presto/Athena, or similartechnologies. Technically savvy and experienced with the cloud,APIs, communications, enterprise software, data reliability, andETL techniques. You have a customer oriented approach. You have anamazing ability to understand the customer’s challenges and areable to articulate a vision to solve challenges to make an impact.

California:
$262,700.00•328,400 This rolemay be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity and corporatebonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the followingbenefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paidsick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
