Job DescriptionWe’re seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Product Manager for our client, a private money lending firm. In this role, you’ll take ownership of their retail portal, driving its evolution through strategic product management while serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders. This high-visibility position offers the opportunity to shape a critical business platform within the real estate investment sector, working with a dedicated team of front-end and back-end developers, QA specialists, and a delivery manager. You’ll be taking over from an existing supplier, requiring a focused transition approach and strong relationship building skills. Core Responsibilities will include:

Strategic Product Leadership Serve as the product visionary, developing and communicating a compelling roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market trends Lead requirement gathering, prioritization, and backlog management to ensure continuous platform improvement Collaborate with stakeholders to define success metrics and track product performance against business goals Drive data-informed decisions through stakeholder interviews, market analysis, and performance metrics Execution and Delivery Own the product development lifecycle from ideation through delivery, ensuring quality releases that solve real user problems Seamlessly integrate with the existing development team to maintain momentum while introducing process improvements Write detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria that enable the technical team to deliver successful solutions Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to maintain velocity and quality Manage dependencies, risks, and impediments proactively to keep delivery on track Stakeholder Management Build trusted relationships with internal teams and executive stakeholders through transparent communication and demonstrated expertise Effectively translate between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring mutual understanding Present product updates and roadmap reviews to leadership, clearly articulating value and progress Partner with financial and real estate subject matter experts to ensure solutions meet industry standards and regulatory requirements Innovation and Continuous Improvement Champion a culture of experimentation, data-driven decisions, and iterative improvement Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate new technologies and approaches that could enhance platform capabilities Proactively explore and recommend efficiency improvements in product and process Qualifications5+ years of experience in business analysis and/or product ownership roles, with at least 2 years working on financial or lending platforms Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and managing product backlogs in Agile environments Understanding of software development lifecycles and product management methodologies Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and delivery managers Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) Nice to haves:
