DESCRIPTION
Amazon’s Transportation organization is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Intermodal Middle Mile Planning & Optimization team. In this role, you will drive the development of innovative solutions that optimize Amazon’s intermodal network, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional customer experiences while maximizing operational efficiency across rail, truck, and other transportation modes. Key job responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for intermodal planning and optimization solutions
- Partner with intermodal operations, engineering teams, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities for network efficiency improvements
- Write detailed BRDs and work backwards documents, including customer-focused narratives
- Define and analyze metrics to measure product success and operational improvements in the intermodal network
- Manage trade-offs between customer experience, cost, and operational efficiency across different transportation modes
- Present regular updates to senior leadership on intermodal product strategy and results
- Collaborate with teams across Amazon’s global transportation network, with a focus on intermodal operations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
