We are seeking a
Vögele Technology Manager
The purpose of the Technology Manager’s position is to be responsible for the condition and support of a technology tract within Wirtgen America. The incumbent will be the internal expert of this particular product technology within Wirtgen America and is responsible for managing all such information and knowledge within the Wirtgen Group. Ensures technical information accessibility to Wirtgen America and its dealer organizations. The Technology Manager will be responsible for technology solutions to resolve obstructions, questions, and recommend appropriate solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure the integrity of the corresponding technology.
Distribute the corresponding technology knowledge within the Wirtgen America organization.
Decision making.
Focus on product enhancement and follow up on product improvement.
Oversee and direct field service technicians and other personnel.
Uphold the dealer standard for the corresponding technology.
Recognize training needs and create content and programs for customers.
Recognize training needs and create content and programs for Wirtgen America’s dealer personnel.
Recognize training needs and create content and programs for Wirtgen America’s field service personnel.

Skills:

Effective multi-channel communication
Ability to direct, manage, and delegate tasks
Must be able to present information and data

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises a team of 5-10 service technicians and specialists. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or

Experience:

In addition to a high school degree a combination of experience and secondary education will be considered equivalent to a bachelor degreed education as long as experience, knowledge and ability levels are appropriate.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear, required to frequently sit, stand; walk; gross hand and finger dexterity; occasionally reach outward with hands and arms; rarely climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently working at an off-site location, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
