The primary purpose of the Assistant Marketing Manager – TechnicalSEO is to support the execution and optimization of technical SEOinitiatives across Lowe’s digital properties. This role is criticalto ensuring strong search engine visibility by addressing siteperformance, indexing, and technical issues that impact organicsearch rankings. The AMM will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, andresolving technical SEO issues, including but not limited to crawlerrors, sitemaps, schema markup, and broken links. This individualwill work cross-functionally with Product Management, UX, SiteOperations, IT, and Digital Merchandising teams to implement bestpractices and drive technical enhancements that improve site healthand search performance. To accomplish this, the AMM must have expertise in websitearchitecture, page speed optimization, log file analysis, andstructured data implementation. The role also involves monitoringand reporting on SEO performance, identifying opportunities forimprovement, and supporting the development of scalable solutionsto enhance search visibility. This position requires a data-driven mindset, attention to detail,and a strong understanding of search engine algorithms and rankingfactors. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who cancommunicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders andhelp execute strategies that improve Lowe’s search rankings andorganic traffic growth. What You Will Do Lead efforts to enhance website architecture, internal linkingstructures, and navigation for improved crawlability and userexperience. Optimize page speed, mobile usability, and Core Web Vitalsperformance to enhance search rankings and user engagement. Implement structured data and schema markup to improve contentvisibility in search results and enable rich snippets. Conduct log file analysis to identify crawl inefficiencies andprovide recommendations for better search engine indexing. Monitor site migrations, URL changes, and redirects to preventnegative SEO impacts and ensure continuity of rankings. Research and implement automation techniques for technical SEOtasks to increase efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure SEO requirements areembedded in website development and platform updates. Track and report on key SEO performance metrics, providing insightsand recommendations for improvement. Stay up to date with algorithm updates, industry trends, andemerging SEO technologies to continuously refine technical SEOstrategies. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration, Merchandising, Marketingor relevant field 4+ years of Search Engine Optimization experience 4 years’ experience with search engine optimization tools such asBotify, Semrush, seoClarity, Google Adwords, Moz, Screaming Frog,etc. Prior experience coordinating and managing teams Experience presenting in large forums and to C- executivemanagement 4 years + experience with web analytics tools such as AdobeAnalytics or Google Analytics Preferred Qualifications SEO experience for large retail business 3 years’ experience in paid search About Lowe’s Lowe’s Companies, Inc.
