A day in the life:
The Paid Search Strategist isresponsible for owning the execution, performance, and growth ofPaid Search advertising campaigns within their book of business.
Youll be responsible for owning reporting, optimizations, clientcommunication, and execution of keyword research, ad copydevelopment, bid optimizations, and routine campaign management,sometimes with the support of a Specialist. A Strategist isoriented toward the clients business success, tying their effortsto the greater business goals
Responsibilities:
Manage paid searchcampaigns across clients of various business types, sizes, andindustries, including daily optimizations and high-level strategychanges Analyze performance data and provide intelligent analysis,interpretation and appropriate action plans based on data-drivenconclusions Manage all client budgets and advise on budget changes,both between campaigns within a paid account and across channelsbased on overall return for your clients Help determine clientbenchmarking and implement optimizations to hit client KPIs in thequickest time possible Maintain frequent and excellentcommunication both on internal agency teams and externally withassigned clients Keep up your education on industry topics Clearlycommunicate with internal agency team about client goals, feedbackand scheduled workflow Improve upon paid media processes andinnovation of new strategies and techniques Vendor management fornew channels and support channels Work toward developing into asenior strategist or account manager Employ AI technologies toenhance and optimize business processes Utilize and leverage PowerDigitals Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
Requirements:
2-3 years of digital marketing experience.1-2 yearsin agency setting Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with
Search Engine Marketing:
Specifically having experience withcampaign development and optimization processes such as bidoptimization, keyword research, ad copy development, and adjustmentof paid search campaigns Significant campaign management experiencein one or more of the following additional campaign types:
Performance Max, Standard, Shopping, YouTube Ads, DisplayAdvertising, Local campaigns, Bing Ads Proficiency inGoogle/Microsoft Office Suite(s) Proficiency in Google AnalyticsStrong understanding of full-funnel marketing and paid media’splace in the funnel Strong Excel skills with clear understanding ofadvanced Excel features Ability to handle multiple tasks in afast-paced environment and under tight deadlines Detail-orientedand organized with strong note taking acumen Strong enthusiasm,passion, creativity and commitment to paid media and client workEntrepreneurial spirit with passion for knowledge and personalgrowth Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): $9.5k team-member EBITDAMaintain below 10% Client Churn Rate 5-6 Accounts Most importantThings (MITs): Excellence in channel production and accountperformance Cross-channel collaboration Internal communication
