Summary :

The SEMSpecialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizingpaid search campaigns, with a heavy focus on search enginemarketing (SEM). This hands-on role involves purchasing ad units,creating and managing sponsored ad campaigns, and ensuring thecompany’s presence in high-visibility positions across searchengines. The SEM Specialist will play a pivotal role in drivingtraffic, increasing conversions, and achieving ROI goals throughexpertly managed SEM strategies and campaigns.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and manage paid search campaignsacross platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identifyhigh-performing opportunities and align campaigns with businessobjectives
  • Create, monitor, and optimize ad copy, bid strategies,and targeting to maximize ROI and campaign performance
  • Purchasead units and manage the allocation of budgets across campaigns toensure efficient use of resources
  • Analyze campaign performancemetrics, such as click-through rates (CTR), cost per acquisition(CPA), and conversion rates, and make data-driven adjustments toimprove results
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align paidsearch efforts with overall marketing strategies and productpromotions
  • Oversee A/B testing on ad creative, landing pages, andbidding strategies to identify and implement best practices
  • Ensure campaigns are aligned with organic search (SEO) efforts tocreate a cohesive and effective search engine presence
  • Stayupdated on industry trends, algorithm updates, and new features inSEM platforms to maintain a competitive edge
  • Prepare and presentdetailed reports on campaign performance, insights, andrecommendations to stakeholders

Skills/Experience Required:
    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree inMarketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

    • 5 yearsof hands-on experience in SEM and paid search campaign management,preferably in a digital marketing or agency setting
    • Expertknowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta and relatedSEM tools
    • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms,keyword bidding, and ad auction dynamics
    • Proven ability tooptimize campaigns for performance metrics such as CTR, CPA, andROI
    • Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics andSEMrush, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionableinsights
    • Experience with A/B testing and campaign experimentationto refine strategies
    • Excellent organizational and projectmanagement skills to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborateeffectively with cross-functional teams and present findings tostakeholders
