A day in the life:
The Organic Search Strategist’srole is to create and execute on Organic Search strategies thatalign with the client’s KPIs. An Organic Search Strategist leadsthe SEO and Content strategy by evaluating the work we’ve completedto determine its effectiveness. They are responsible for meetingSEO and Content deliverable timelines and delivering high qualitywork. They adjust the strategy as needed in order to get the bestresults possible. The Organic Search Strategist clearlycommunicates what we’ve done, the impact its had, and the directionof the ongoing strategy so that clients can see the value of ourwork and understand how it aligns with the client’s goals. They area problem solver who can evaluate shifts in the Organic Searchlandscape. The Organic Search Strategist also looks foropportunities to collaborate with other channels to create anoverall seamless cross-channel strategy
Responsibilities:
Deliverall SEO and Content workflow on time while also adhering to 100%completion of Power Digital processes each week (Asana, Slack,15Five, etc.) Proactively communicate strategy ideas, relevantupdates (Algorithm Updates, ranking changes, traffic/revenue/leadgen changes) to both internal and client teams Stay updated onindustry trends and best practices while also educating clients onrecommended actions and next steps, especially in regards toAlgorithm Updates Effectively plan and communicate recommended SEOand Content strategy that aims to achieve client’s organic searchgoals. Report on the impact of those strategies during monthly andquarterly reporting Independently manage client accountscomprehensively with minimal senior support Execute at least 80% ofSEO and Content deliverables with high accuracy (little to noerrors) Proactively seek and implement organic search improvementsto achieve client goals within the organic search channelCollaborate within a team to develop organic search strategyroadmaps that support client goals and objectives Employ AItechnologies to enhance and optimize business processes Utilize andleverage Power Digitals Nova ecosystem as it relates to yourdepartment
Role Requirements:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience inan SEO-based role with client facing experience Experience withE-commerce Clients Familiarity and proficiency in data analysis anddata visualization utilizing tools such as (but not limited to):
SEMRush, ahrefs, GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog Foundationalunderstanding of organic search elements such as on-page,technical, and off-page SEO, along with SEO Content alignment tobusiness goals and priorities Excellent time management,prioritization and organizational skills for strategy planning,task delegation, and deliverable review Proactive problem-solvingability, both in client-facing situations and internal scenarios,demonstrating a cooperative and strategic thinking mindset Strongpresentation skills to communicate insights and recommended actionseffectively. Ability to tailor organic search storytelling fordifferent audiences Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Hit RPEsuccess metric ($26k) Below 10% Client Churn Rate. Range of thenumber of accounts (8-12) Most Important Things (MITs): OrganicSearch production work and strategy to help maintain strategicrelationships with organic search clients Ability to know when topivot strategy and/or re-forecast goals if needed to help scaleclient’s business Maintain professional communication andpresentation skills (both internal and external) while showcasingstrong problem solving ability
