CLASSIFICATION MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be a current University of Florida student with good academic and conduct standing.
Must be at least a second-year student enrolled in a journalism, advertising, public relations, marketing or another related major.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
Assist with updating UF main calendar
Assist with digital ad setup and digital ad monitoring
Update website content on SCM websites
Help create reports that consolidate all marketing metrics into a single, centralized document
Conduct social media platforms and trend research
Track social media KPIs and industry benchmarks
Assist with social media monitoring, moderation and content creation
Assist with other marketing and social media projects as assigned
EXPECTED SALARY
$15.00/hr
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read, write and communicate professionally. This candidate will be expected to work 15•20 hours per week in-person, preferably at least three days a week within the office’s business hours (Monday•Friday, between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
PREFERRED
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Proficient copywriting skills.
Experience with Google Analytics Experience editing websites via WYSIYG editors.
Experience with social media monitoring software
Experience managing social media platforms for a brand
Experience tracking and updating projects within a project management system.
