Admissions Director Position Summary:

First Baptist Academy seeks a creative, mission-driven Digital Engagement Specialist to lead the school’s digital engagement and support admissions efforts. This full-time position plays a critical role in advancing the school’s visibility, engagement, and enrollment by telling our story through digital platforms and direct prospective family support. First Baptist Academy, led by First Naples Church, supports the ultimate mission of “Helping people love Jesus to live for Him every day.” First Baptist Academy supports the mission of First Naples Church by “Serving Christ, Shaping Minds, and Sending Leaders.” This position will promote the mission in a healthy, Christ-centered way. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, visual storyteller, and strategic thinker who is passionate about Christian education and skilled in social media, marketing, and communications.

QUALIFYING CHARACTERISTICS

The employee is a Christian with an authentic and mature personal relationship with Jesus Christ in both his or her professional and personal life with a calling and commitment to Christian education. Must have excellent interpersonal and computer skills, the ability to present information concisely and effectively, confidentially handle sensitive information, organize and prioritize work, multi-task and work independently with little supervision, and must be a team player.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, or a related field 1-3+ years of experience managing professional social media and communications Strong writing and editing skills for diverse audiences Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools Experience in photography, video creation, and basic editing (especially for reels and stories) Familiarity with web content management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar) Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Social MediaCommunications (Primary Role) Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to support the school’s mission and visibility. Manage daily content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), including reels, stories, and posts Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos of school life, events, and athletics Write and distribute regular school-wide communications (e-newsletters, event promos, etc.) Track and report analytics for social media and web platforms to guide data-driven improvements. Offer insights to the administration concerning key findings. Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and user-friendliness Collaborate with administrators, faculty, and coaches to source compelling stories and content Ensure all communications align with Christian values and school branding In Collaboration with the administration, create all marketing materials for events pertaining to First Baptist Academy Collaborate with the Communications Team of First Naples Church to enhance the mission of the ministry Collaborate with the FBA/FBC Director of Development to establish communications strategies with advancement initiatives Admissions Support (Secondary Role) Assist the Director of Admissions in planning and promoting admissions events (tours, open houses, info nights) Support communication with prospective families through email, phone, and print materials Create digital and print assets for enrollment marketing campaigns Maintain updated records and inquiry data using school systems (CRM, spreadsheets, etc.) Serve as a welcoming representative of the school to prospective families The above description covers the most significant duties performed, but does not exclude other duties that may be assigned to support First Baptist Academy.
