The Social Media and Brand Specialist is responsible for creating, managing and adapting content for use in social media outlets and campaigns. This person will be responding and promoting engagement in all outlets. Must be a dynamic storyteller, well-organized, and a strong communicator that is up-to-date on the most contemporary social channels. As the Social Media and Brand specialist, you will oversee all social media campaigns and engagement strategies. This includes research, content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting. Some weekends required. You will also assist in our retail store as well. Must perform job responsibilities according to all JFM policies.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Monitor all incoming marketing requests and serve as a liaison between marketing and other departments.
  • Responsible for the JFM library of resources and facilitate incoming requests when ordering material.
  • Responsible for any campaign-related or marketing shipping needs.
  • Assist with the development of engaging social media strategies and plans in alignment with the company’s business goals.
  • Assist with the facilitation of marketing requests, including collateral creation, PowerPoints, scripts, talking points, etc.
  • Work with team to develop, produce and execute internal and external marketing promotions and campaigns.
  • Assist with building engagement around key marketing initiatives, themes, and programs. Such as Holidays, classes, events, bridal shows, etc.
  • Collaborate and manage relationships. Establish rapport with news and radio media.
  • Monitor and add content to the JFM website.
  • Support, attend, and/or participate in JFM events, town halls, tradeshows, campaigns, and other initiatives as required.
  • Apply a marketing eye to the overall body of work ensuring all engagement communications include a connection back to the JFM brand, mission, and values.
  • As directed, serve as backup point of contact when needed.
  • Assists owner and wedding coordinators as needed on special projects and assignments.
  • Ability to create messages, materials, and tools to effectively communicate to key audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and skills in project management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated innovative, creative, and flexible approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent writing skills combined with speed, flexibility and attention to detail.
  • Agility and can adjust quickly as new information becomes available or as priorities change.

Must have two (2) years experience with social media platforms. i.e. Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter, Eventbrite to name just a few. The salary for this position generally ranges between $40,000.00 – $45,000.00 This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications: education and experience.
