Position Overview:
Florida Yacht Club , a prestigious private yacht club dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences on and off the water, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator . This part-time role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a passion for luxury branding and a keen eye for high-quality content. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a high-end private club, luxury resort, or boutique hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a content calendar across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others as appropriate. Create engaging photo, video, and written content that reflects the club’s exclusive brand and lifestyle. Capture onsite content during events, regattas, and club functions, working closely with staff and members. Monitor engagement and community interaction, responding to comments and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner. Collaborate with the club’s leadership team to ensure consistency of message and brand tone. Stay current with social media trends and best practices in luxury and hospitality sectors. Provide regular performance reporting and insights to guide future content strategies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing social media for a luxury brand, private club, or upscale hospitality venue. Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and engagement tools. Excellent writing, photography, and light video editing skills. Professional presence and discretion are required in an exclusive private club setting. Ability to work independently, with flexibility to attend select club events (including occasional evenings or weekends). Must be detail-oriented.
Preferred Experience:
Background in luxury hospitality, private membership clubs, or yachting/marine industry. Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Lightroom is a plus.
Compensation:
