Today, we operate a portfolio of unique, student-focused restaurant brands on and near major college campuses within their student unions, including: Mac Shack, Vatos Tacos, and Honeywhirl. Our mission is to serve high-quality, craveable food with speed, value, and a local connection. The Opportunity We’re seeking a dynamic Social Media Consultant to help drive foot traffic, student engagement, and brand loyalty through creative, data-driven digital marketing. You’ll shape how our brands show up online, activate students, and turn casual customers into loyal fans. This is a great opportunity for an independent marketing pro or small team with experience in hospitality, Gen Z consumer behavior, and campus life. Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Develop and execute a marketing strategy tailored to student trends and university calendars Build full-funnel campaigns that drive awareness, trial, and loyalty Recommend tactics for geo-targeting, remarketing, and food delivery platform integration Content Creation & Management Plan and manage Instagram, TikTok, and other key social platforms Produce or coordinate photo/video content (especially short-form and BTS) Maintain consistent brand identity across all digital touchpoints Engagement & Analytics Monitor and engage with our community across platforms Deliver monthly reports showing performance (reach, engagement, conversions) Optimize content and campaigns based on data insights Brand Activation Support Create digital assets for promotions, student events, and in-store activations Support marketing around openings, limited-time offers, and seasonal campaigns Who You Are A social media native with experience marketing to Gen Z audiences Strategic and creative, with a strong design and visual storytelling sense Data-savvy and results-driven Comfortable working independently and collaboratively Hospitality, CPG, or campus brand experience a big plus Preferred Experience 2-5 years in social media management, consulting, or content marketing Proficient in tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, Later/Planoly, Meta Suite, and TikTok analytics
