Responsibilities The specialist will be expected to perform the following: Create and implement organic social media strategies based on client needs. Visit clients on-site to take photos and record videos via mobile phone. Create and publish social media posts for the client. Monitor and respond to direct messages and comments. Identify and track metrics relevant to achieving client goals. Work in platforms including Buffer, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Write copy, source photos, and storyboard videos for the posts. Monitor and improve social media campaign performance. Adapt content styles to match the preferences of each client’s audience. The Organic Social Media Specialist will work directly with the Forge Marketing Director and the client to understand the clients’ market, competition, growth goals, campaign needs, budget, progress, and reports. Though the Organic Social Media Specialist will be expected to create most of the content for posts, there may be times when the specialist can work with a graphic designer or video editor to create content for social media posts. Working Arrangements The Organic Social Media Specialist will work in a hybrid (remote with on-site client visits), freelance capacity and on an account basis. Given the long-term nature of paid social management, the specialist will work with the same account(s). Please note that frequent or consistent work is not guaranteed. If the specialist needs to roll off an account for any reason, they will be expected to work with the Marketing Director to help transition another specialist onto the account. All correspondence will take place via Slack, Asana, phone call, or video conference.
