Part-time Engagement Program Leader 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Gwinnett County, GA Class Summary This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits. Job Description The Part-time Engagement Program Leader will be responsible for all of the photography, online graphic creation, online content creation and social media at the Gwinnett County facilities. This position requires a flexible schedule to include weekend and holiday hours. The ideal candidate must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Essential Duties Analyzing data/metrics and creating reports Handling graphic creation and updating reports using Microsoft office and Adobe Creative Suite Researching and staying on top of current trends Staying up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness Creating creative content for our social media platforms and managing content calendar Creating engaging text, imaging, and video content Suggesting new ways to attract prospective customers Participating in regular staff meetings and assisting with in-service training Grade The Grade for this position is 97. The salary will be based on education and experience. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in parks and recreation, tourism, marketing, social media, communication, or related field Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. One year of related experience in recreation programming, customer service, marketing, and tourism Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, social media, communications Three years of experience in photography, social media, and journalism Other Job Requirements/Information This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, evenings, and/or holidays.
