POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing all social media production and coordination. While we have made every effort to outline this position’s primary duties and responsibilities, Team Members should expect that on occasion, additional tasks or projects will be assigned according to the needs of the Company.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage social media presence on sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Work across departments to ensure proper messaging is being executed online that will help reach the company objectives. Support and protect the brand by making sure that positive messaging is maintained in the community and establish consistency of messages. Manage online discussions by listening to what users are saying, reading discussion forums and responding in a timely manner to the users’ needs. Monitor, track and report the efficacy of social media efforts.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

This position reports to the Creative Director and is contained within the Marketing Department. Ongoing communication and oversight with the Creative Director are requirements of this job, to ensure consistency with brand message, protection of brand as well as to ensure proper reporting on marketing returns for optimum performance. This is an exempt position, which will require you to be accessible at times after hours and on weekends by phone, email, SMS message or other means.

TRAVEL:

Limited travel is required, expected to be less than 25%

QUALIFICATIONS

A. Education Four-year College or university degree desired. B. Direct Previous Experience Two or more years of marketing and sales experiences desired. Two or more years’ experience in a similar position desired. Two or more years’ experience working with seniors desired. C.

Computer and Technical Skills:

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) plus the willingness to learn other computer programs, if required. Ability to work with minimal or close supervision. Must be detail-oriented and be able to work with numbers with a high degree of proficiency. Must conduct all business with a professional manner, with a high level of confidentiality and perform under various time-sensitive or stressful situations. D.

Abilities:

Work indoors for the majority of the workday (fluorescent lights, HVAC system, carpeted and linoleum flooring, normal office noise levels). Climb up to two flights of stairs occasionally. Lift objects of 25 pounds or less over the head. Move objects of 40 pounds or less. Sit in a chair for extended periods. Respond to medical emergencies on a rare occasion.
