Social Media Specialist Provision Ace Hardware 445 Capital Drive, Carthage, NC 28327 Overview We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our audience across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media management, content creation, and advertising strategies, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with our community. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across social platforms. Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities to engage with followers. Analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategy and improve engagement rates. Manage advertising campaigns on social media platforms to drive traffic and conversions. Stay up to date with Ace Win-The-Month Execution Guides and Circulars, as well as any additional promos. Consult with department heads regarding brands, sales, and services that they want to highlight, Use tools like Canva to create graphics and signs when required for events and merchandising. Maintain relationships with local newspapers where applicable and conduct ad campaigns as required. Coordinate with vendors/sales reps to obtain promotional video footage when applicable, and to utilize the most current images/logos maximize coop fund payout and satisfy brand requirements. Go to Seven Lakes location once weekly to get necessary content for the week. (Posts should be done for Seven Lakes at approximately 50% the pace of Southern Pines posts.) Flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend events at the store to post content live as well as follow-up posts for those events. Experience Proven experience in social media management or related fields. Strong skills in content creation, including writing, graphics, editing, and video production. Experience with advertising on platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and Google Business. Proficient in using analytics tools for performance tracking and reporting. Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively. Strong research skills to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
