The Coordinator, Social Operations will support the activation of the digital and social media strategy across Timberland owned platforms as well as support the evolution of Timberland’s focus to truly become the sustainable Outdoor Lifestyle brand. This role will include contributing to a “brand-as-a-content publisher” approach to our owned media platforms, be an evangelist and constant advocate for the target consumer and be an expert and advocate in all forms of digital and social media. Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. A day in the life of the Coordinator, Social Operations for Timberland looks a little like this. You are a professional who is responsible for creating engaging marketing campaigns and content that attract customers to Timberland’s social media platforms. This includes collaborating with a marketing team to create social media content, publishing content based on a schedule, and monitoring results through analytics.

What you will do:

Assist with day-by-day content planning across channels within Opal Execute content publishing, community interactions, and real-time engagement, fostering an authentic connection with Timberland Pro’s audience Track organic and boosted social performance metrics, providing insights to inform strategy and content optimization Manage the programming and distribution of Timberland digital and social media content through our vendor platforms.

Serve as a global expert and evangelist for our content management system(s) Coordinate and manage the digital and social media calendar for content stories Curate sourced content as needed for digital and social media purposes including hash-tagged content and user-generated content Create and publish content for our social media platforms that embodies the target lifestyle and supports our key brand and product stories How you will do it: Establish relationships with our internal and regional partners, including the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team, creating constant and consistent two-way communication to help support the flow of assets Work with internal and external creative resource partners to support the development of innovative, engaging, brand-right content for our consumers.

Providing customer service and engagement within the social media properties Be an integral part of the cross-functional team that helps to bring a cohesive web platform experience to life in 2015, merging commerce and brand lifestyle Help to support initiatives like MarkMakers Provide analytics support where needed to help guide and inform decisions. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, such as a bachelor’s in marketing, we are most interested in your 1+ years of experience and professional achievements in digital marketing and social media. The foundational skills you will need in this position are: Social media fanatic; you must be actively involved on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and beyond Strong understanding of and an interest in social media platform trends Good judgment and an eye for imagery Photography, videography, Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator skills a plus Must be a fast learner, multi-tasker, independent problem solver, and flexible Effective, professional and engaging writing skills tailored our desired audience Experience creating content for specific platforms since each has its own rules, such as post length and how to use hashtags What do we offer you? Hiring Range:

$48,000.00 USD – $60,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential:
