Mockins is rapidly growing across both e-commerce channels and major retailers. Role Description We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Jr Social Specialist & Video Editor to join our team full-time at our Brooklyn office. This position supports the Social Media and Marketing Manager in creating and executing engaging content across social platforms, with a strong emphasis on high-quality video editing . Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to plan and execute social media calendar and campaigns Edit and produce short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts Design and schedule content across platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube Manage and grow social profiles organically, including engaging with followers and responding to comments Create and publish email campaigns via MailChimp or similar tools Assist in product seeding and relationship-building with micro-influencers Organize and maintain a consistent posting calendar Create Pinterest pins and manage scheduling strategy Support and monitor Meta ad campaigns with creative input and content delivery Assist with basic graphic design tasks (Canva or Adobe Suite) Monitor performance metrics and provide feedback for optimization Qualifications 2+ years of experience in social media content creation and video editing (portfolio required) Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects Strong understanding of TikTok trends and content creation Experience managing and growing Instagram using Canva and Meta scheduling tools Familiarity with Facebook groups and strategies for organic growth Comfortable working with MailChimp or similar email marketing platforms Experience posting and optimizing content for YouTube Experience with Pinterest scheduling tools Experience working with micro-influencers or managing product seeding collaborations Basic graphic design skills are a plus Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred The ideal candidate is passionate about content creation, up to date on social media trends, and confident managing multiple platforms.
