SUMMARY The Social Media Specialist, at Butler/Till creates and executes social strategy across the agency enterprise. They analyze campaign performance, are comfortable in quality assurance of social campaigns, and communicate effectively with internal teams. Additionally, they keep a strong pulse on industry news & trends. A successful Social Media Specialist should have the ability to not only create and execute social campaigns, but also feel comfortable participating in client meetings. KEY OUTCOMES & RESPONSIBILITIES

This position plays a critical role in the day-to-day execution of paid social media campaigns, to drive performance and value on behalf of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to day management of assigned, existing social media campaigns and optimize campaigns based on performance goals, documenting changes and learnings. Setup of new campaigns on various social media platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn and Reddit. Knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and partner offerings, including measurement capabilities, and effective applications. Develop and manage campaign budget tracking documents, pacing documents, and budget forecasts. Ability to efficiently analyze and act on data from multiple campaigns, encompassing various brands, targeting strategies, marketing funnel stages, and diverse audiences, including both B2C and B2B segments. Drive campaign performance by recommending and implementing optimizations within the buying platform to ensure all client KPIs are met or exceeded, aligning with pre-established benchmarks. Responsible for QA of social campaigns for a select set of clients with keen attention to detail.

This position supports the strategic planning and daily execution of both new and ongoing campaigns, ensuring impactful results and alignment with overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop paid social strategies and tactical plans for new and existing clients. Seeks opportunities to contribute to thought leadership materials. Research new vendors and tactics, and provides competitive research, spending data, market analyses, trends and market-specific opportunities. Collaborate with Senior Specialists and cross-functional teams to gather insights, offer recommendations and optimizations to exceed campaign benchmarks. Supports the Channel Manager and Sr. Specialist in developing new partnerships and/or social strategies for new and existing clients.

This position supports a collaborative, communicative work culture, fostering seamless coordination within the Paid Social team and across all agency functions to drive unified success.

Key Responsibilities:

Works closely with peers to ensure campaign management tasks are completed and executional best practices are followed. Plays a vocal role in defining our approach and answering both client and internal cross-functional team questions and inquiry.

Measurement and Reporting:

Channel Specialists can turn raw numbers into a meaningful story about campaign performance. They use these insights to make media performance better and help clients achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results. Effectively communicates and educates internal teams on performance nuances, citing team-driven optimizations and/or external factors that impacted performance. Assist with troubleshooting of reporting and/or trafficking mapping and/or site tagging to assist with campaign measurement. Collaborates with channel peers to understand cross-channel dependencies and build synergistic strategies to further overall campaign performance.

EDUCATION

•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or equivalent work experience o

EXPERIENCE

•2+ years of experience managing campaigns in the channel ecosystem. Experience with strategic planning and applied experience of bringing plans to execution. Proven track record in operating with a high-level of integrity, commitment, and enthusiasm to take on a challenging role with cross-functional commitments. o Proactive and curious attitude. Strong problem-solving skills. o Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with rapidly changing priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•o Experience working in pharma marketing or in a highly regulated industry. o Experience working in an agency environment

COMPENSATION

Butler/Till is committed to providing pay transparency of our compensation philosophy and ensuring equitable pay practices for our employee owners. The compensation range for this position is $44,000•$62,000 and represents the annual salary range in Rochester, NY. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. This is just one component of Butler/Till’s total compensation package for employee owners. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), an annual bonus, in addition to a full benefits package, and paid time off benefits, including 100% paid parental leave. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
