JOB PURPOSE

As Social Media Coordinator, you are responsible for maintaining the public image of Palmetto State Armory through social media channels. This position will gather content to post on all social channels for Palmetto State Armory and other sister companies as needed. This position will also be tasked with working together with other departments to answer customer direct messages on all social platforms.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily oversight of all social media platforms. Occasional travel to matches, trade shows and other events to update and post to social platforms in “real time”. Work with CEO and Marketing Director to ensure all content published to social channels is relevant and accurate. Work with other departments at Palmetto State Armory to answer customer messages directly. All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on marketing or communications is preferred. Firearm industry knowledge preferred. 1 year of social marketing experience required. Strong organization and project management skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Most work is performed in an office environment. Ability to work various hours, including evenings and weekends is a must. Some travel will be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position involves a variety of physical activities including talking, hearing and repetitive motions. Some lifting and carrying products is required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
