Appalachian League Content Creator
Nashville, Tennessee
The Appalachian League is seeking a highly motivated individual to coordinate and organize all league’s efforts in social media and communications. Applicant must be a creative self-starter capable of meeting strict deadlines. Prior knowledge of social media and creative design is a must along with a strong baseball Background. Responsibilities Curate, edit, publish and share engaging social media content daily
Suggest new and creative ideas to promote league brand
Community management: respond to all DMs, like/comment on photos, engage with audience
Maintain social media calendar
Communicating with Appy League clubs regarding communication initiatives
Writing and organizing league press releases and distribution
Graphic design
Assist Data Coordinator management
Promote current & former Appy League players
Gather and organize league content from various sources (i.e. team photo days, streaming, in game photos) Qualifications & Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills
Advanced knowledge of social channels
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva
Strategic thinker with excellent time and project management skills
Knowledge of baseball analytics
Must be available to work nights & weekends in-season
Pay Rate:
