simulators and provide instruction in all aspects of fire support. Operator/instructor will plan, develop, schedule, and synchronize all aspects of the JTAC Trainer, as well as develop realistic and challenging simulator training scenarios in accordance with the unit’s designed operational capabilities statement. Operator Instructor will develop a taxonomy of integration or interoperation levels and identify the training and mission rehearsal tasks supported by each. Role and Responsibilities Be able to work in a sensitive environment. Provide academic and practical instructions for all aspects of fire support including TAC, naval gunfire, call for fire, AC-130, and attack aviation. Operate Fire Support/Terminal Attack Control simulators and provide instructions for USSOCOM JTACs, trainees, and Close Air Support (CAS) familiarization with needed. Plan, develop, schedule, and synchronize all aspects of the JTAC Trainer, as well as develop realistic and challenging simulator training scenarios in accordance with the unit’s designed operational capabilities statement. At the discretion of the Government, attend simulator and operational conferences to stay abreast of current software/hardware application and research new operational tactics, techniques and procedures that can be implemented into unit training. Maintain qualification and currency as required in accordance with provisions set forth in the JTAC memorandum of agreement. Develop a taxonomy of integration or interoperation levels and identify the training and mission rehearsal tasks supported by each. The intent is to provide a common framework to discuss the integration of JTAC training devices with each of the following: Other JTAC training devices. Live/virtual/constructive representations of a Tactical Operations Center/Combat Operations Center. Live/virtual/constructive aircraft. Forward observer training devices. Identify the necessary components to allow different JTAC simulators to interoperate. Document processes and provide continual process improvement. Comply with company standard operating policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities None Required Qualifications and Education Minimum 7 or more years as a qualified JTAC (SOF preferred) with overseas deployments Minimum 2 years as a JTAC instructor Must be a US Citizen Must have had an Honorable discharge from the military (if applicable) Keep and maintain

security clearance Must have a current driver’s license Must be able to pass a national level criminal / background check Must hold at least a High School Diploma Preferred Qualifications and Education Minimum 10 or more years as a qualified JTAC (SOF Preferred) with overseas deployments Minimum 5 years as a JTAC instructor Work authorization/security clearance requirements Secret Physical Demands/Work Environment Performance of role will include work in office and range environments. Candidate will be required to wear protective gear such as helmet/NVG’s, body armor etc, and carry up to 40 pounds of equipment over uneven terrain.
