Professional Job Summary The Military Recruitment Subject Matter Expert (SME) will work hand-in-hand with recruiting efforts of the United States Navy Contact Center. The SME will be responsible for successfully locating suitable candidates for a variety of Navy specialty rates in various online platforms. The intent of the Military Recruitment Subject Matter Expert Support Initiative is to generate as many Actionable Leads for Navy Recruiters as possible. Responsibilities > Military Recruitment Subject Matter Expert Interact with individuals to answer any questions they may have about the United States Navy Specialty Programs Actively search through established databases and platforms for suitable candidates for Navy specialties Conduct basic pre-qualification interviews for those interested in joining the United States Navy Receive and make outbound phone calls with the intent of converting general inquiries into actionable leads interested in enlistment into the Navy specialty programs Provide exceptional customer service and relevant answers to callers ensuring they are in accordance with United States Navy enlistment standards Reference, rely upon and stay within the boundaries of established scripts, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and User Guides Advise inquiries on enlistment eligibility according to US Navy enlistment criteria Provide callers with the appropriate information and contact information of various US Navy Support elements Work well under immediate supervision and follow processes and protocol as outlined Promptly complete all projects and administrative tasks as assigned Reference, rely upon and stay within the boundaries of established scripts Communicate effectively via telephone and maintain the flow of information while keeping supervisors informed of any issues that may occur Accomplish other duties as assigned by management Work effectively with other team members to maintain positive morale and a sense of teamwork Complete and submit daily time reports Represent iostudio in a professional manner with all client leadership, vendors and staff Qualifications Experience in prior United States Navy Recruiting service required Must be able to work proficiently in Mac OSX and Microsoft software Strong technical aptitude Must be results-oriented Strong problem-solving skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds Position is under government contract o Ability to qualify for a government security clearance – as required by government contract o Citizen of the United States of America – as required by government contract Requirements To comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), which prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals on the basis of disability, it is necessary to specify the physical, mental and environmental conditions of the Essential Duties of the job.
