GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Tyonek is seeking IO Instructor / Developer support to 39th IOS at Hurlburt Field, FL. Support includes a full range of Information Operations training and development, Information Systems & Operations, Communications, Administrative Support, and Knowledge Based Services across the air, space, and cyber domains. DUTIES Understand conceptual, functional, and detailed planning and the development, usage, and analysis of all factors affecting IO operations to support training
Provide research and analytical support to the IO training team to ensure students understand how to provide the Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC), Joint Force Commander (JFC), Combatant Commander (CCDR) or Higher headquarters with capabilities to influence the information environment
Understand how to execute planning, integration, and coordination tasks in support of full spectrum airpower operations and exercises.
Instruct students to formulate and present plans, orders, and senior level briefings on Information-Related Capabilities to enable non-kinetic operations in support of the Joint Air Operations Plan (JAOP)
Understand both the technical and cognitive employment of Information Operations and its effect on political/military objectives
Will expose the training audience to the effects of the information environment and facilitate the integration of the training audience’s IO plan into simulated current operations
Serve as Primary or Assistant Instructor and IO Subject Matter Expert
Contribute Subject Matter Expertise and curriculum development support during Curriculum review boards
Work in cooperation with the 39 IOS training, standardization and evaluation, and IO flights/Staff
Mentor/facilitate students through the course materials and practical applications
Develop and maintain master lesson files
Create and maintain lesson plans and student handouts
Attend meetings relevant to IO, Operational Security, Deception Activities/Military Deception, and
MISO/PSYOP
programs, equipment/tool development, and integration of IO capabilities
Prepare briefings, position papers, background papers, white papers, talking papers, and other products for government lead to use in developing and advocating materiel and non-materiel solutions for operational IO requirements, programs, TTPs, equipment/tools, or capability gaps and integration
Other Duties as Assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a related area is required
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the field of information operations
Experience and working knowledge of Air Force IO forces andanizational/functional structures at all levels of Air Force and Joint functions.
Experience integrating IO concepts, TTPs, policies, methodologies and approaches into DoD ranges/simulations, exercises, and training for evaluation and mission rehearsal.
Experience developing, executing, or evaluating IO concepts, TTPs, policies, methodologies, approaches, plans, exercises integration, and/or simulations.
Experience with Information Related Capabilities (IRC), tools, processes, and methodologies
Experience with developing and implementing long-, mid-, and short-range planning, mission analysis, and execution of the Joint Planning Process-Air (JPPA)
Experience in an Air Operations Center (AOC), Joint Operations Center (JOC), or other serviceponent operational level center or coordination cell
120+ instructor podium hours and 30+ hours of formal curriculum development is required
Top Secret Clearance/SCI required
