Job Description:
As a Battle Staff Training (BST) C4I Specialist at Threat Tec, you will provide expert command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) support for Marine Raider Battle Staff Training exercises. In this critical role, you will develop and script operational vignettes, integrate and de-conflict internal and external C4I assets, and mentor Special Operations command staffs on current and emerging C4I systems. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing mission readiness and interoperability across MARSOC commands through realistic, high-fidelity training scenarios. Role and Responsibilities Lead the development and scripting of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) products in support of operational vignettes for Marine Raider Battle Staff Training exercises Provide academic instruction and mentorship to Special Operations command staffs on current and emerging C4I requirements and systems Identify, integrate, and de-conflict internal and external C4I assets and readiness to support MARSOC major subordinate commands’ training and exercise plans Analyze and interpret USSOCOM, USMC, OSD, and other service communications directives, regulations, and doctrinal publications to inform exercise design and execution
Required Qualifications Service Experience:
Minimum 10 years of prior military service, including experience managing, training, and planning SOF-peculiar communication equipment
Technical Skills:
Proven expertise with deployed C4I networks and
TACSAT/SOCOM
Ku/DISA Ka systems Hands-on experience with tactical C2 and common operating picture platforms Familiarity with SOF Deployable Node and Global Broadcast Service (GBS) systems Background in digital force protection and spectrum operations
Clearance:
Active SECRET clearance with TS/SCI eligibility; U.S. citizenship required
Other:
Valid U.S. driver’s license; excellent verbal communication and multi-tasking abilities Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical or operational field Experience with live-virtual-constructive (LVC) training tools such as Virtual Battlespace (VBS3/4) Familiarity with Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), FBCB2 JCR/JBC-P, or Tactical Mission Command (TMC) servers Prior role as a military instructor or demonstrator for C4I systems integration Experience executing Joint National Training Capability (JNTC)-accredited exercises Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
