AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Training of pre-commissioning crew: Develop crew training curriculum, instructor guides, student guides Develop electronic presentations and audio-visual aids Conduct classroom/seminar and shipboard training to meet all contractual requirements Technical input to Engineer’s Operating Manual (EOM) and all associated procedures and training Interfacing with OEMs/Suppliers to obtain Vendor Furnished Information as needed Interfacing with Navy/Supship personnel on crew training related issues Ensuring all change order activity that impacts crew training is processed, documented and communicated to rest of ILS Team Cross-train to other areas within ILS as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
Five (5) years of Navy/USCG/MSC crew training instructor experience required. Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience interacting with internal and external customers. High School diploma or equivalent required. Related degrees advantageous Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office products. Prior U.S. Navy, MSC or USCG experience desired, but not required
