The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising the Force Support Commander on deployment programs. They interpret policy and provide procedural guidance to wing/unit commanders, supervisors, staff members, and unit deployment managers (UDM) concerning the deployment process. Additionally, the officer prepares and directs the compiling, coordinating, publishing, distributing, maintaining, and implementing of Base Support Plans (BSP), War Reserve Materiel (WRM), and Support Agreement programs. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role also involves providing personnel and services to support deployment workcenters during deployment operations and supporting deploying personnel and their families during all phases of deployments. Duties Directs, controls and coordinates installation deployments as directed by the commander. Defines and publishes local guidance for deployments. Ensures the installation meets all pre-execution and command and control deployment requirements. Manages the installation’s cargo and personnel deployment preparation. Ensures all applicable UTC data files are properly maintained in the components of the Installation Deployment System (IDS). Provides Unit Deployment Managers (UDMs) with detailed outlines of the unit deployment requirements

Qualifications Proven experience in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, particularly an Ohmmeter, is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure. GS-13 grade level position, your resume must include relevant experience with beginning and ending dates of employment/experience reflecting at least 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level GS-12 with experience, education, or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Ability to integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience in monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with senior leadership, customers and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
