Character Performer True Character Party Deerfield Beach, FL Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Character Performers to join our team. In this role, you will bring beloved characters to life through engaging performances, interacting with children and families, and creating memorable experiences. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the arts, particularly in theater and dance, and possess strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate with audiences of all ages. Responsibilities Perform as various characters in live shows, events, and meet-and-greet sessions. Engage with children and families, providing an interactive and enjoyable experience. Educate audiences about the character’s story and background during performances. Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm while performing. Collaborate with fellow performers and production staff to ensure seamless presentations. Participate in rehearsals to refine performance skills and character portrayal. Adhere to safety guidelines while performing in costume. Requirements Previous experience in theater or performing arts is preferred. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Experience working with children is highly desirable. Dance experience is a plus, enhancing performance capabilities. Ability to portray characters authentically and energetically. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. A positive attitude and a passion for entertaining are essential.
