SUMMER About Us:
South Florida Surprises brings magical moments to families through live character performances at parties and events around the tri county. (Must be comfortable driving yourself to events) We’re looking for talented, charismatic performers to join our team as princesses and other beloved characters!
Responsibilities:
- Perform as a princess or other characters at events, staying in character throughout.
- Engage with children and families with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Pick up costumes and props from our designated location (Fridays) and return them neatly (by Tuesday).
- Use personal vehicle to drive to events and costume pick-up/drop-off.
Requirements:
- Acting, singing, or performance experience is a plus (but not required).
- Outgoing personality and comfort working with children.
- Must own a reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Ability to handle makeup and wear a wig cap under character wigs.
- Availability on weekends. This role is ideal for someone who:
- Has strong weekend availability
- Is great with kids
- Has acting, theater, or performance experience (preferred, but not required)
- Is open to wearing wigs/costumes and staying in character
- Has a “look” that aligns with certain classic fairytale characters (like Cinderella, Rapunzel, etc.) — we provide all costume pieces and training!
- We’re especially looking for performers who can portray multiple roles and are interested in recurring weekend work.
