Beyond Dance of Lynnfield 8 Centre Court, Lynnfield, MA 01940 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant and growing team! We are currently looking for someone on Mondays and/or Saturdays, as well as someone to cover a maternity leave from November through January on multiple days. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various dance styles, and have experience working with students of all ages. This role involves teaching dance techniques, fostering a love for movement, and encouraging creativity in a supportive environment. The Dance Instructor will play a crucial role in developing students’ skills while ensuring an enjoyable and enriching experience.

Schedule:

• 4-8 Hours a week
• Monday’s and / or Saturday mornings
• Experience with children ages 1.5
• 5 a must
• Looking for someone well rounded in ALL styles including Acro
• Lead teaching and choreography experience for at least one year
• Required Bachelors Degree Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the skill levels of students.

Teach various dance styles, ensuring proper techniques and safety practices. Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their performance and confidence. Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a positive learning atmosphere. Organize and lead rehearsals for performances or showcases. Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Skills Experience working with students in an educational or recreational setting. Ability to plan lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and styles. Experience with behavior management strategies to maintain a productive classroom environment. Skills in childcare or adult education can be beneficial for understanding student dynamics. Ability to sew costumes or cook for events can add value to the role. Tutoring experience is advantageous for providing personalized attention to students.
